The publication celebrates the vital connection between art and writing, and encourages new routes into the works by pairing each exhibiting artist with a UK-based writer.
Jerwood Survey III artists are: Che Applewhaite, Aqsa Arif, MV Brown, Philippa Brown Alliyah Enyo, Sam Keelan, Paul Nataraj, Ciarán Ó Dochartaigh, Ebun Sodipo and Kandace Siobhan Walker
The invited writers are: Amrita Dhallu, Susan Finlay, Daisy Lafarge, Priya Jay, Christopher Kirubi, Debbie Meniru, Rianna Jade Parker, Megan Rudden, David Steans, and Salomé Voegelin.
The publication has been designed using a modular format. It can be deconstructed (by gently removing the elastic band) and the order of the images can be changed to create different front cover combinations and visual relationships between the works, reflecting how the work will be curated differently at each of the four galleries. You can extract a poster and put it on your wall or look at the images while you read the text written about them.
